They operate two camps in the Washakie Wilderness located in the Shoshone National Forest, available by special permit. Their Surveyor Park High Camp is a 3 hr ride from the trailhead and the Chimney Creek camp only a 1 ½ hr ride. This is a traditional wilderness hunting camp with wall tents and cots for each hunter, guide tents, cook/dining tents, tack tent for gear, outhouse facilities, and a shower. All our tents are heated with woodstoves or propane heat. Our Surveyor Park Camp sits at 8600’ and you will be hunting in elevations up to 11,000’. When winter snows begin pushing the Elk from their Summer Range, we have the option to move down and hunt out of the Chimney Creek Camp. You will be hunting and riding in some of the best Elk country in all of Wyoming and the West. You will be riding daily from camp and hunting in area 63 and 64 which is some of the best elk hunting in all the West. You will be hunting thru many 300-320 class bulls looking for that larger something special. We always find these larger bulls, but they do require a physically fit hunter to harvest successfully.
