The wild glacial landscape of Southeast Alaska's Coastal Mountain Range has the highest density of Mountain Goats in the world and can be easily accessed by boats through its deep fjords. Late season hunts for Mountain Goats in this area are among the best that can be found anywhere. Year after year this small team has produced nearly 100% success on oversized billies with many surpassing the B&C all-time minimum. Hunters can expect to hunt mature billies averaging over nine inches with 10+ being a real possibility.

This outfit conducts five boat-based 9-day (7 actual hunt days) hunts starting in mid October and finishing the end of November. Seven full hunting days with only two hunters aboard also maximizes your success it also means you can afford to be selective and hold out for a truly mature goat. This later hunt period produces the long haired billies many hunters seek in this rugged environment. November hunters will catch rut activity and possibly snow, these factors can push goats into manageable terrain closer to the shoreline putting them in reach of our more seasoned sportsman. While earlier hunts can be more demanding and require the grit and tenacity that goat hunts are famous for.

These late season boat based hunts are conducted from the comfort of a 50 foot vessel. Unlike most traditional goat hunts, hunters can expect to get warm and dry each day when they return to the boat for a hot meal.

Big Billies, great accommodations, breathtaking scenery, great guides, and a track record for success make this a top-shelf goat hunt.
