DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter has been in operation since 1999, and they have a phenomenal track record for being one of the best whitetail operations in Alberta. They are a family operation that specializes in family friendly service from start to finish. Their main lodge is located along the beautiful Battle River, and their hunting area is made up of 10 different WMU units consisting of 7000 square miles of prime whitetail country.

While on your hunt, you will be staying in one of thier comfortable log cabins that are situated steps away from their newly built lodge, where you will enjoy home-cooked meals and all the amenities. A typical day of hunting will consist of breakfast at 5:30 to 6 AM, and leaving with your guide shortly there after. He will take you to one of their comfortable box blinds with a bagged lunch, or he may also pick you up around lunch-time to go back to the lodge for a quick lunch. You’ll be picked up shortly after dark and brought back to the lodge for a hearty supper.

Due the type of hunt this is, most hunters choose the 2 on 1 guide ratio option. The price is less and it's rare that there is a need to be guided 1 on 1. Success has not been affected by going 2 on 1. That being said they do provide the optionn of a 1 on 1 option if that's what you prefer. This specific area of Alberta is considered exceptional for several reason. It boasts a healthy population of whitetail deer, providing ample opportunities for hunters to encounter and pursue trophy whitetail bucks. As most hunters know, Alberta is renowned for producing high-quality trophy whitetail bucks, and this area is no exception. The average buck harvested in this area is in the 140" class. While this is the average size buck, larger bucks are harvested every year, and the photo gallery displays a good balance of good, better, and best opportunities in the area.

The region's combination of abundant food sources, good genetics, and suitable habitat conditions contribute to the growth of impressive antlers on mature bucks. The area encompasses a variety of habitats, including agricultural fields, dense forests, river valleys, and brushy coulees. This diverse landscape provides whitetail deer with suitable cover, food sources, and breeding grounds, making it an ideal habitat for deer and an exciting hunting ground for hunters.

While this area attracts hunters from across North America, it may experience lower hunting pressure compared to more heavily hunted regions. This can result in less pressured deer populations and increase the likelihood of encountering mature bucks. Beyond the hunting experience, this area offers stunning scenic beauty, with rolling prairies, wooded river valleys, and expansive vistas. Whether hunters are in pursuit of trophy bucks or simply enjoying the outdoors, the natural beauty of the region enhances the overall experience.

Overall, the combination of abundant whitetail deer populations, quality trophy bucks, diverse habitat, low hunting pressure, effective wildlife management, and scenic beauty makes whitetail hunting in this area of Alberta an amazing experience for hunters seeking a memorable and rewarding hunt.
