DESCRIPTION:

You’ve drawn the tag… CONGRATULATIONS! You're thinking about applying for Arizona bighorn sheep and you're trying to figure out who you would hunt with? either way, if you’re considering hunting with a guide/outfitter, this outfitter is a great option to consider. They are a second-generation sheep outfitter with over 30 years of experience guiding bighorn sheep hunts in Arizona, Nevada, and Mexico. They have been very close to bighorn sheep management in Arizona for countless years. The owner has served on the board of directors of the Arizona Bighorn Sheep Society for ten years, and also served as the organizations president in 1995, still serves on the board of governors. This continuous involvement keeps him up to date on the growth and condition of various bighorn sheep herds throughout the state of Arizona.

Past clients have never failed to have an opportunity to take a trophy ram, and our opinion is that the service provided by this outfitter are some of the best sheep hunting expertise available anywhere. They’re known for providing the finest camps that are unsurpassed in quality and preparation. Their mission is to provide a successful, safe, comfortable and memorable experience. The trophy pics show that their reputation speaks for itself.

Their focus is not to do many hunts throughout the season, but to put their focus and extra attention to detail on one or two hunts, with their primary goal to obtain the largest and best ram possible for each client.

The units for which this outfitter offers their fully guided and outfitted services are the following: 1 (Res. Only), 2B (Res. Only), 6A, 22, 24A, 27, 28

Although there are fewer Rocky bighorns, they make up for that in quality. Arizona now has seven different Rocky bighorn units and eight total hunts. Nonresidents are eligible to apply for five of the eight hunts. Even with the split in the once joint unit area of 6A and 22 North, there is not an increase in the overall number of hunts available. This area had two 21-day hunts that took place back to back, and there are still two hunts, but they are now a month long for each unit. Most Rocky bighorn units within Arizona can be as physically demanding as you want them to be, except for 27 Upper Blue River. All hunts have good trophy potential with the average ram score of Rocky units eligible for non-resident tags being 169". There is truly 170"+ potential in every Rocky unit.
