DESCRIPTION:

Colorado has long been known as the elk hunting capital of the West, but world class antelope in Colorado is absolutely an option as well. Every Colorado guided antelope hunt wit this outfitter is completely custom and planned years in advance. Their hunting in Colorado is all about you getting that western hunting experience you’ve been dreaming of. So stop dreaming and start planning to draw a tag in this state to hunt with this outfitter. Also, outside of the draw are landowner tags that can be acquired to by pass the draw and hunt every year. If this is of interest to you, contact us to discuss more.

They are pleased to be outfitting in the beautiful La Garita Wilderness, of the Rio Grande National Forest, which is located in Colorado unit 68. They also offer hunts in the San Juan National Forest units 73 & 74. They also are a permit holder on BLM lands in unit 66, unit 74, unit 75, unit 79, and units 80/81. Within their permitted areas they are the only outfitter allowed to offer full service guided camps as well as drop camps insuring hunters access to the finest areas within their permitted area with no other guided pressure.

They specialize in trophy antelope hunting in Colorado in many units, and they have exclusive permits in 3 of the state’s top units. Tags are acquired through the draw system as well as very limited landowner tags. In Colorado Antelope hunts will require points to draw, and most of their hunts are going to require a few points. Archery hunters will take 2-5 points, muzzleloader hunters will need approximately 20-21 points because their area for muzzleloader hunts covers 7 total units. For rifle hunters you will need approximately 13-18 points. The best plan is to always talk with me on the phone and we can set you up a hunt plan form 2-5 year in advance. The nice thing in Colorado is you can plan on drawing a specific year, and point creep is not as bad as it is for elk and deer.

All antelope hunts in Colorado are custom planned because of the number of points it takes to draw and the limited availability of landowner tags. They often only have 1-2 hunters a year. Antelope hunts will be a mix of tents, camp trailers and hotels, meals will be a mix of mountain house to restaurants in the area they want to be able to move for the best animals!
