ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is just a 45-minute Air Taxi flight from Anchorage, located in the heart of the Alaskan Peninsula between Lake Clark and Katmai National Park & Preserves. This game-rich region offers some of North America's best trophy hunting and world-class freshwater fly-fishing. With over 750,000 acres of exclusive hunting concessions and premium Guide-Use areas, guests have high success rates for all available species. Beyond hunting and fishing, they provide bear-viewing excursions, nature photography tours, backcountry training, and wilderness medicine courses. Adventure packages range from all-inclusive guided trips to outfitted DIY options for every budget. Accommodations include comfortable lodges, or a backcountry camp with all necessary gear and meals. Whether you're after a thrilling hunt, world-class fishing, or an unforgettable Alaskan adventure, this outfitter delivers an exceptional wilderness experience.

HUNT DETAILS:
These DIY hunts are perfect for those seeking an independent adventure without the need for a guide. Hunters can choose between a true DIY experience, where they provide all their own gear, or an outfitted DIY hunt, where the outfitter supplies essential equipment and food. This outfitter operates in a vast moose hunting area featuring mountains, swampy flats, tundra, river valleys, and coastal regions. To cover such diverse terrain, they use floatplanes, wheel planes, jet boats, and rafts. The hunt combines spot-and-stalk with calling techniques, particularly effective during the September rut when bulls often come within archery range. The average bull measures 62 inches, with some reaching an impressive 67-70+ inches each year.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Clients have the option to bring their own camp or have the outfitter provide it for them. If the outfitter is providing camp and gear, you will experience comfortable mountain style tent camping while enjoying a mix of freeze-dried meals and minimal fresh foods flown in at the start of your hunt. Camps are designed to provide a dry and efficient base for your Alaskan adventure, ensuring you have the energy and comfort needed to focus on the hunt. Though the setup is simple, it offers all the essentials for a successful and memorable experience in the wilderness. With careful planning and preparation, they ensure your camp meets your needs, combining practicality and comfort to enhance your overall enjoyment of this once-in-a-lifetime outdoor adventure.

LICENSE PROCESS:
Over-the-counter harvest tickets are available for most areas. Your license and tags can be purchased online through the ADFG website at least a month in advance.
