    HUNT DETAILS

This hunt has long been a top producer for HFA clients. The terrain includes mountains, broken timber, sage flats, agricultural fields, coulees, and open grasslands, with much of the hunt spent glassing expansive country.

Thanks to strong game management and healthy deer numbers, hunters can expect to see multiple deer throughout the day. The hunt has consistently provided a strong opportunity for hunters to pursue bucks averaging 140 to 160 inches, with several 170-plus-inch bucks taken each year.

    ACCOMMODATIONS

Hunters stay in a well-appointed lodge with convenient access to the surrounding hunting areas. Meals are prepared by an experienced cook and served family style, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere after a long day in the field.

Days start with fresh coffee and hearty breakfasts, including eggs and bacon, pancakes, or French toast. Lunches are “build your own,” with deli meats, snacks, and homemade treats available. Evenings feature satisfying home-cooked dinners such as fried chicken, pork chops, meatloaf, or steak—ensuring hunters are well-fed and ready for the next day.

    LICENSE INFORMATION

Montana deer tags are relatively easy to draw but must be applied for by the April 1 deadline. This package includes the required non-resident permits and licenses for both hunters, representing a $2,040 value.
