My Oregonian roots run deep, spanning six generations, and I take pride in my heritage. I grew up in Redmond, a city located in Central Oregon where the Cascade Mountains meet the high desert. I've always been driven to help others, leading me to serve as a pastor in Redmond for over a decade, coach track and field at Redmond High School for several years, work as a Realtor, and guide hunts in various Western states.
Aside from my passion for helping people, family is everything to me, and being a devoted husband and father to my two children is my highest priority. Archery hunting mule deer and elk has been a favorite pastime of mine since childhood, and it remains a significant passion of mine today. Hunting has taught me invaluable lessons about patience, perseverance, selflessness, and respect for nature. My father, who introduced me to hunting, is still my hunting partner. We are always planning the next adventure.
Through hunting, I've learned how to overcome challenges, both successes and failures. I value surrounding myself with individuals who celebrate one another's accomplishments regardless of who pulls the trigger or lets the arrow fly. Hunting has become a source of excitement and challenge in my life. I’ve hunted in several states throughout the US. Among all the places I've hunted, Alaska stands out as my favorite. Currently, my hunting goal is to complete my North American Super 10. I only need a sheep and a mountain goat to achieve this goal.
In my early 20s, I had a "once in a lifetime" adventure that made me realize how much I wanted my life to be like that all the time. Whether I'm hunting, pastoring, guiding, coaching, or advising people on hunts, I strive to add value to people's lives and help them achieve their goals and make their dreams a reality.
