I was born and raised in northeast Ohio. I was introduced to hunting and fishing by my father and grew up chasing small game, turkeys, and whitetail deer. After high school I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to attend college at Colorado State University. Colorado has been home ever since. I live here today with my wife and two sons, all of whom share my passion for the outdoors.
Hunting was cultivated for me at a young age and has grown into a driving force in my life. Moving out west opened my eyes to the draw systems and the available opportunities to hunt more and better-quality animals. I have been applying in nearly every state across the west since then. This, along with taking advantage of available OTC tags, has allowed me to hunt over 20 states across the US.
New species and experiences have fueled me from a young age. This desire to travel to far off places and seek out great new adventures has led me on over 30 international hunts across 5 different continents. Some of my favorites include Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, South Africa, Botswana, Argentina, Spain, and 6 Canadian provinces.
Over that time, I’ve been lucky enough to take 19 different North American species including being ¾ of the way to my grand slam. Some of the bucket list international animals I have taken, include Marco Polo sheep, 5 different ibex species, tur, over 30 African species, red stag, and chamois to name a few.
