“The most obvious detail about this sleeping pad that separates it from all other pads is the foam topper. The layer of foam completely changes the comfort of an everyday inflatable pad. In fact, I’ve substituted my 3" memory foam pad that I keep in my bedroll with the Klymaloft Sleeping Pad because my quality of sleep isn’t impacted in the slightest. I simply decreased the weight and overall size of my ‘luxury’ camping setup, and I imagine I’ll be able to use this on certain hunts as well.

It’s not fair to compare this pad to an ultralight, backcountry hunting pad, but it’s worth noting that the increased weight and bulk is justifiable on many outdoor adventures, and even some backpacking hunts, within reason. I think it’s important to note how quiet it is because I’ve certainly had my fair share of nights where I’m rolling over or adjusting in some way and the noise of the pad wakes me up. I can sleep anywhere, but it doesn’t hurt to be comfortable in the process.
