The more I learn about long-range shooting, the more I have come to understand how important having good data is to making a good first shot. For even greater ease of use, I found this, like all of the devices in the Vortex Relay family, was extremely easy to pair with the GeoBallistics app on my phone as well as the Vortex Talon rangefinding binoculars.
Using it on its own to calculate elevation and wind adjustments was seamless, but using it in conjunction with those other tools elevated the experience. While practicing on steel at very long ranges, this tool has really helped me fine-tune my shooting. When I brought it back into the distances I feel comfortable with while hunting, I couldn’t believe how confident I was that I would make the shot count.
