Duct-Aid is a first aid company based on using Duct Tape for your emergencies. Have you ever worried about what you would do if you suffered a serious injury while in the mountains? Would you have the supplies and information to know what to do? Duct-Aid is here to make sure you are prepared.

Professionally designed to have every item that you need, this compact kit weighs just over 1 pound and is easy to take with you. Each kit comes with a downloadable First Aid Field Guide, which has step-by-step instructions on how to use your kit to stabilize over 45 injuries. The core of our kit is our patent pending medical grade duct tape. We took standard duct tape and replaced the dirty adhesive with a hypoallergenic, safe-for-skin adhesive that is as sticky as the original.

A first aid kit is not something that most people think of having on hand. It’s human nature for people to think that accidents only happen to other people, but I can tell you from personal experience that accidents happen to everyone and you owe it to yourself and the people you are with to be prepared.

I have always made up my own first aid kits, and I customize them for each hunt I go on. It really depends on where I am going and who I am going with. One of the things I have always carried in my first aid kit is duct tape, and I’m sure many outdoorsmen do the same due to the wide range of uses. I was excited to hear that a company had come out with a medical grade duct tape that’s safe for your skin, which has a much cleaner manufacturing process. The kit comes with a lightweight first aid kit that rolls up inside of the roll of duct tape, and there are labeled pockets to quickly access what you need. One thing I really liked about the Duct-Aid first aid kit was the downloadable first aid field guide, which can be downloaded directly to your phone for convenience. It is a great reference for treating a lot of first aid scenarios that you may encounter in the field.

The entire kit weighs in at just over a pound, keeping it a manageable weight for hunters. I will definitely be adding their medical grade duct tape to my first aid kit, which can be purchased separately.”
