ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This outfitter brings more than 25 years of experience to a highly managed Rocky Mountain elk hunting program, built around selective genetics, long-term herd management, and a proven history of producing exceptional trophy bulls. Their program is the result of decades of dedication to developing elk known for size, structure, age class, and overall trophy quality.
The property encompasses 3,500 acres, but due to the layout, terrain, cover, and how the elk use the land, it hunts like a property several times that size. Elk move freely throughout a large, natural landscape and remain alert, creating a hunt that feels authentic and challenging. This is not a staged or hand-fed environment, and hunters should expect a real hunting experience that requires patience, awareness, and the ability to make the shot when the opportunity presents itself.
This outfitter has developed a strong reputation for producing both typical and non-typical genetics, with bulls showing impressive frame, mass, character, and overall trophy quality. Hunters are typically pursuing mature bulls that are five years old or older, with some bulls having lived on the property for up to 8 years before finally being found and harvested. The oldest bull harvested to date was 14 years old and still scored 439 inches, which speaks to the age structure and quality of the program.
The outfitter has built a strong reputation for consistent success, quality animals, and an overall experience that keeps hunters returning year after year.
HUNT DETAILS:
These Rocky Mountain elk hunts are fully guided and structured to give each hunter the best possible opportunity within their selected trophy category. Experienced guides who know the property and the elk work hard to position hunters for success by using their knowledge of the terrain, animal movement, and decades of experience tracking trophy bulls.
The hunt can be accommodated for a wide variety of hunters, including different physical ability levels, age ranges, and weapon preferences. Whether a hunter is looking for a rifle hunt, archery-focused experience, or a hunt tailored around specific mobility or comfort needs, the outfitter works to structure the hunt accordingly while still maintaining the integrity of a real hunting experience.
These are true hunts with no shortcuts. Nothing is staged, and success is never guaranteed. Hunters should arrive prepared to hunt hard, stay patient, and be ready when the right bull presents an opportunity. Timing, weather, elk movement, and the hunter’s ability to make the shot all play an important role in the outcome of the hunt.
The hunt is conducted on a wound-or-harvest policy. The outfitter also provides caping and skinning services and can help arrange meat processing, taxidermy, and shipping support as needed. Capes are properly skinned, cooled, and frozen, and the outfitter provides the necessary export paperwork to help make trophy transport as smooth as possible.
Recommended gear includes good waterproof hunting boots, quality rain gear, layered fall clothing, warm gloves and outerwear, binoculars, a daypack, a small flashlight, and a water bottle.
ACCOMMODATIONS:

The lodge provides open space, warm wood finishes, comfortable seating, and a relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind, share stories, and prepare for the next day’s hunt.
Lodging being located on the property allows hunters to move easily from the field to a warm and welcoming setting without unnecessary travel. The cabin is more than just a place to sleep; it is part of the overall experience, offering a quiet, comfortable, and practical place to relax after a day of hunting.
The hunt includes home-cooked meals prepared on-site, and special dietary requests can be accommodated with advance notice. Guests are treated with genuine hospitality and can expect a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay.
