This HFA Endorsed Outfitter hunts Coues Deer on 100,000+ acres of private land. With exclusive hunting rights on their properties, they can limit the number of deer harvested in order to provide clients an opportunity to harvest the best trophy possible. Their camps are limited to 5 hunters per week and they guide just 15 or less Coues Deer hunters per season. These management practices have allowed them to maintain control of their ranch and quality, and also increase the percentage of hunters harvesting trophy deer. In fact, their hunters have enjoyed 98% success rates on both deer and turkey over the past four years. Why? Because they own their ranches and they don't over-hunt them!
HUNT DETAILS:
On this hunt, it is common to see 50 or more deer a day. This is a game rich environment with lots of opportunity. Our team has hunted with this outfitter multiple times, and we have had great success. Our clients love this hunt and always plan to go back. This hunt is a day-pack backpack hunt, where you will hunt based out of their mountain cabins, and you will leave and return each day to the cabins. There are instances where you will leave by vehicle to access other parts of the Hunting area, and you will hike from the vehicle into the mountains.
This hunt is a true opportunity to kill a next level coues deer. If the timing lines up with the right while you are there, the opportunity of harvesting a Magnum book is a real possibility. The average deer scores between 100 inches and 110 inches and every year there are bucks harvested that exceed 120 inches. There have been bucks harvested in the past exceeding 130 inches as well. All of their ranches are in excellent condition. With an increase in moisture levels over the past four years, they have seen good acorn crops, better antler growth, and healthier deer. They are also supplementing the natural salt licks with minerals to enhance antler growth. They have excellent accommodations and care for your trophy animals including taxidermy. They make hunting in a foreign country easy and painless. All animals are properly caped and cared for in preparation for you to take them to your taxidermist.
All hunting packages include meals, lodging, airport pickup and delivery. The outfitter meets all clients in the United States and is at your side throughout all travels and border crossings to and from the ranch.
