This outfitter combines passion, experience, and local expertise for an unforgettable adventure.

HUNT DETAILS:
These archery elk hunts take place in Utah's High Uintas Wilderness, some of the highest country in the state. Their camps are 10 to 20 miles deep, accessible only by horseback. The area is rich with elk, offering numerous opportunities to harvest bulls, ranging from rag-horn to 290-class, with 300+ potential. Hunts take place during the first three weeks of September, with light rut activity early on, increasing to high rut by the third week. Even if the hunt isn't successful, the experience of exploring the high country on horseback is truly unforgettable.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Camps feature comfortable wall tents or Springbar-style canvas tents, each equipped with a cot and either a heater or stove for warmth. All meals are prepared in a dedicated cook tent by our experienced guide or camp jack, ensuring delicious, home-cooked meals throughout your stay. With cozy accommodations and hearty meals, these camps offer a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness experience. You'll feel well-rested and fueled for your hunt in the heart of the High Uintas Wilderness.

LICENSE PROCESS:
Non-resident archery elk tags are available over the counter and typically go on sale in late summer. Youth rifle rut tags require a draw application, with the deadline usually falling in late April.
