Wyoming Wilderness Elk Hunt - Drop Camp

ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This outfitting operation is owned and operated by an experienced outfitter with more than 15 years in the industry. The company offers hunts in Wyoming and Idaho, including pack-in hunts, fully guided hunts, drop camps, and private ranch hunts. Hunts are conducted using both horseback and ATV access. The outfitter specializes in elk and bighorn sheep hunts through a partnership with another established outfitting operation. Additional hunting opportunities include deer, bear, antelope, and wolf hunts.

HUNT DETAILS:
This drop camp elk hunt offers a maximum stay of 14 days. Archery hunts begin September 1, and rifle hunts begin September 26. Drop camps are not permitted during the last week of the archery season or the first week of the rifle season. The pack-in camp is located approximately 12 miles outside of Alpine, Wyoming, and can be easily accessed by flying into either Jackson, Wyoming, or Idaho Falls, Idaho. The operation employs highly experienced guides, many of whom have been with the outfitting service for several years. They are extremely familiar with the area and the various drop camp locations. Camps are selected based on access to potable drinking water. Beyond providing opportunities to pursue trophy-quality elk, the guides are committed to ensuring hunters have an enjoyable and memorable experience that will not soon be forgotten.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Our drop camp accommodations include packing hunters into and out of camp. Clients are responsible for all of their own gear, tents, cooking supplies, food, etc. There is a 100 pound weight limit for gear per person for drop camps.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Licenses for all seasons and hunts in Wyoming are allocated through the state draw. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
