HUNT DETAILS:
Hunting pronghorn in western New Mexico is a fast-paced and exciting experience across wide-open grasslands and rolling desert terrain. Known for their speed and sharp eyesight, pronghorn offer a fun and challenging spot-and-stalk hunt, often requiring creative approaches and long-range shooting. Western New Mexico is home to quality bucks, with opportunities to pursue mature pronghorn in remote, lightly pressured areas. The open country allows for great glassing and multiple stalks each day. With experienced guides who know the land well, hunters can expect a high-success, high-action hunt that showcases the beauty and excitement of pronghorn hunting in the Southwest.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for Pronghorn hunts vary depending on the unit, ranging from comfortable wall tent camps in remote areas to local Airbnbs, hotels, or lodges when hunting closer to town. In the field, wall tents offer a classic camp experience with cots, heat, and hearty, home-cooked meals. For hunts based near amenities, guests enjoy clean, comfortable lodging and easy access to hot meals and showers. No matter the setup, comfort and convenience are always a priority.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
New Mexico's big game draw operates on a random selection basis without preference or bonus points. Applications are randomly assigned sequence numbers, and licenses are allocated based on these numbers, with a minimum of 84% of licenses awarded to residents, 10% to non-residents applying with an outfitter, and 6% to non-residents applying without an outfitter. Huntin’ Fool’s License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
