ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Outfitter operates a small multi generation outfit that dates back to 1984. They have tried to remain fairly small and strive to maintain high success rates throughout their operation. They own and train all of their livestock. They only allow six hunters in camp at one time and always do their best to assure you the best experience as possible.

HUNT DETAILS:
Wyoming is one of the premier destinations for hunting Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. This outfitting operation guides hunts in Sheep Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, offering both base camp hunts in Area 1 and spike camp hunts across all of these exceptional units. For nearly 25 years, the operation has maintained an almost 100% success rate on sheep hunts.

The outfitter accommodates hunters in any of Units 1 through 5 and limits participation to a maximum of 10 sheep hunters per year—typically eight or fewer—to ensure each client receives the highest level of attention and the best possible opportunity to harvest a true trophy ram. To further support client success, the final 10 days of the season are always kept open, allowing hunters who were unsuccessful earlier in the season to return for another opportunity.

The guiding staff is carefully selected, with no inexperienced guides ever sent out alone. Hunts are typically conducted with a head guide and an assistant, and often two head guides will work together to maximize efficiency and opportunity. All guides are excellent horsemen, highly skilled with optics, and proficient at judging rams to very close scores. Each guide carries and regularly uses rangefinders. While the final decision to harvest an animal always rests with the hunter, the guiding team is committed to providing their absolute best effort to help each client take the trophy of a lifetime.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Camp accommodations are second to none. Whether in base camp or spike camp, hunters are provided with three hearty meals per day, prepared by a dedicated cook/wrangler assigned to every camp. Sleeping tents are fully outfitted with cots and foam pads to ensure proper rest. The team emphasizes that good nutrition and quality rest are critical to both mental and physical performance, especially during the later days of a demanding hunt. Clients can expect to be hunted hard and fed well.
