HUNT DETAILS:
Every hunt is designed to deliver an unforgettable backcountry experience that guests will not soon forget.
They are committed to helping each hunter fully enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. You'll enjoy safe and reliable mountain horses to ride into camp and to hunt daily. Expect to hunt big mountain landscapes, big open ridges and valleys, several burn areas, and timber pockets.
The terrain they hunt is not motor-vehicle accessible, ensuring a true wilderness experience. Hunters park near the main road at the outfitter’s corrals, saddle up horses and pack animals, and follow a scenic 5–6 hour ride into base camp—arriving at a comfortable home away from home deep in Wyoming’s backcountry. Expect to be hunting better than average bulls in the 280" - 320" range during Archery and Rifle General seasons. Bigger bulls are taken every year.
On the Limited Quota, late season hunts in 55/56 and 59 you can expect 340"- 370" bulls with bigger coming out of these units every year.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Their base hunting camp sits at 9,000 feet and is nestled in the heart of the Washakie Wilderness Area within the Shoshone National Forest, just eight miles from Yellowstone National Park and 12 miles from the nearest main road, near Cody WY. Comfortable Wilderness, wall tent camp during archery and general Rifle seasons
Mountain cabins during the Late, Limited quota hunts.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Wyoming elk licenses are allocated through a draw system, with the number of preference points required varying by unit. For those seeking a guaranteed tag, Commissioner's and Governor's licenses are also available for purchase, offering direct access to elk hunting opportunities without going through the draw.
