This Mexico HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a very well-known family that understands hunting and game management. They have been hunting in Mexico as a family for over 100 years, and they have been providing guided and outfitted hunts for American and Mexican clients each fall. This particular ranch was acquired by the outfitter in 2023, and the family that owns the ranch has had it for 40+ years. 2024 was the first year that an elk was hunted and harvested on the ranch.
HUNT DETAILS:
This hunt is 100% free range and fair chase for trophy rocky mountain elk. There are NO FENCES! The best hunting methods for this hunt include Spot and Stalk, and ground blinds over water (if a client desires to do so). Another proven method is covering the ranch glassing and calling for bulls. The same goes for hiking the mountains and hills glassing the canyons and valley floors during the same time-frame. You can choose to run the ridges with a backpack all day long, or you can choose to hunt from the vehicle, on foot from easily accessed vantage points. It’s entirely up to you and your capabilities and/or wants/needs.
As part of this amazing opportunity, they are providing the opportunity of a combo hunt, to hunt some of the largest Carmen Mountain Whitetail Deer that you can find in the world.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The lodging is a nice comfortable ranch house with running water, bedrooms, shower, etc. Skinning and caping are included in the price, and trophies will be taken care of and prepared for you to take home with you after the hunt.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
The outfitter handles all licenses, tags, permitting and requirements to hunt, as well as properly cross the border with no complications.
