HUNT DETAILS:
With decades of hands-on experience in the area, the outfitter brings valuable insight into the most productive hunting locations and the most effective tactics for pursuing lynx in this region. Calling is the primary and preferred method of hunting and has proven to be extremely effective year after year, contributing to the outfitter’s strong success rate. This is best described as a classic gentleman’s hunt, designed to be straightforward, enjoyable, and highly productive. Snowmobiles and vehicles are used to cover vast country efficiently, allowing hunters to access prime areas quickly and comfortably.
The hunt is conducted annually in January across more than 34,000 square miles of prime lynx habitat. While calling is the main form of hunting, the use of hounds is also an option and may be utilized on a case-by-case basis depending on conditions, client preferences, and situational needs. The outfitter maintains all required licenses, permits, and insurance and operates a well-established business with a proven reputation for quality service, safety, and success. Hunters should expect true winter conditions, including sub-zero temperatures, but are supported by excellent equipment, experienced guides, and a carefully managed operation that maximizes opportunity while maintaining comfort and safety in extreme weather.
