ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter runs antelope hunts in Wyoming, working the sweeping plains that define much of the state. The focus is narrow by design, with the operation built around pronghorn rather than spread across a long list of species, and that concentration shows in how the guides handle hunters in the field. Years of experience and a record of putting hunters on mature bucks stand behind the outfit, and access to productive country backs it up. Lodging is arranged as part of the package, and field care of harvested animals is handled by the staff. Hunters can expect a professional, well-organized experience from the first contact through the end of the trip.

HUNT DETAILS:
Hunting here is a full-day proposition. Hunters meet early enough for breakfast before heading out, typically an hour or two ahead of daylight depending on which country is being hunted that morning. The method is spot and stalk worked from the truck, which lets the guides cover a lot of ground quickly, glass likely areas, and then move in on foot once a buck worth pursuing is located. That style suits the terrain, which is wide, open plains where pronghorn can be picked out at distance but closing the gap takes patience and a careful approach. Guides handle the locating and the stalk, and the hunter is in on every part of it. Buck quality is a point of emphasis, with the outfit focused on mature animals and backed by strong success rates in country that produces them. A packed lunch, snacks, and other requested food and drinks go along for the day. Hunters stay out until after dark, eating a packed dinner in the field or heading back to town depending on how the day runs.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters are put up in local hotels, so each night ends with a real bed, a shower, and everything else that comes with staying in town rather than a camp. The outfitter arranges the lodging as part of the hunt. Food and drinks are carried into the field during the hunt day, including a packed lunch and snacks. Meals in town are the hunter's responsibility, which leaves the group free to pick a restaurant and eat on whatever schedule the day allows. The arrangement trades the atmosphere of a camp for comfort and flexibility.
