HUNT DETAILS:
These elk hunts take place in the rugged backcountry of Montana’s Centennial Range, where hunters use horses to access remote country with light hunting pressure and quality elk habitat. Depending on elk movement and the location being hunted, accommodations may be based either out of the outfitter’s lodge or a remote wall tent camp deeper in the mountains. Wall tent camps come with wood stoves for some of Montana's colder nights. The lodge provides a cozy atmosphere with all the comforts and amenities of home. Hunters can expect a true western hunting experience that combines horseback travel, scenic mountain country, and experienced guides who know the area well. Since the outfitter is the only licensed operation in the Centennial Range they tend to have higher shot opportunities.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Depending on elk movement and the location being hunted, accommodations may be based either out of the outfitter’s comfortable lodge or a remote wall tent camp deeper in the mountains. Wall tent camps are equipped with wood stoves to provide a warm and comfortable place to rest after long days in the field, while the lodge offers all the modern amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast and dinners are home cooked by the outfitter each day, while lunches are packed and taken into the field.
