ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This outfitter has been in the business since 1993 and offers hunts in multiple states. This particular Texas opportunity is for free-range whitetail deer. They offer semi-guided hunts as well as fully guided hunts on multiple properties that they manager. Some of their hunts are set up to stay on the actual ranch you will be hunting, while others have great hunting but no accommodations, so the outfitter uses nearby hotels.

HUNT DETAILS:
Hunters can harvest two deer on these ranches—one management buck and one trophy buck—with Southern Texas whitetails averaging around 130” and approximately 160 pounds. This package can be split with a youth hunter (no adult splits), and youth hunters can participate starting at 8 years old. Hunts take place in late November and December during the rut and utilize a mix of spot-and-stalk and blind hunting methods. Trucks and jeeps are often used to navigate the ranches, making this a great option for hunters with limited mobility. Once a buck is located, spot-and-stalk techniques are used to close the distance, while feeders and corn are also utilized to attract game. Each hunter can expect multiple opportunities, and additional exotic species hunts are available year-round as add-ons.

LICENSE PROCESS:
