DESCRIPTION:

This HFA Endorsed Transporter offers Spring black bear hunting out of Homer AK. This is an exciting and coveted Do-It-Yourself hunting option. The areas they hunt holds a healthy black bear population. Typically in the middle of April the bears come out of their dens and begin feeding along the shore. Your hunt will consists of glassing the shoreline from the comfort of their 50-foot custom catamaran, and also hiking the area foothills and mountains looking for a bear. You’ll find the arrangements to be more than comfortable for up to six bear hunters with ample sleeping, seating and deck area for all. All meals are included. You can spend all day on shore or arrange for pick up at drop offs throughout the day. Hunters that tag out early or wanting to hide from the weather can fish for multiple species during the trip. These trips are a great combination for anyone who is wanting experience amazing views and world class fishing and hunting.

These are UNGUIDED hunts:
The crew members are not big game hunting guides and are simply a big game transporter. They cannot accompany you ashore during your hunt or help you in anyway accomplish your hunt or game harvesting. They may only provide you with food, lodging and transportation to and from the field along with all fishing gear.

Self-Guided hunts are for experienced hunters who are capable of guiding themselves in all aspects of hunting.
They NOT allowed to legally assist you in any aspect of your hunt.
They are NOT licensed hunting guides. They only operate as TRANSPORTERS under ADF&G.
They are NOT allowed to provide hunters with map locations, GPS coordinates or any other information on where to hunt.
They CANNOT provide any assistance with field care of any game.
They CANNOT provide any care of the game while on or off the vessel.
All hunting and processing equipment must be provided by the hunter.
It is imperative that the hunting party conduct their own research on the most productive hunting locations and have knowledge of where on the island they would like to hunt.
