The MTX blends our Magnus stock with our lightest weight C20 contour carbon barrel to give the most comfort on the gun and in the pack. The optimized geometry of the Magnus stock provides the control needed to execute the most difficult shots and tame heavier recoiling cartridges. The Magnus MTX is configured for hunts where ounces matter and opportunities are rare. No compromises can be made when it’s time to shoot.

“At first glance, the Magnus MTX resembled the ClymR rifle with its sleek, lightweight design, which had me a little nervous in the 7PRC caliber for recoil purposes. I put the Gunwerks 6IX+ Titanium Suppressor on it and hit the range to zero it (switching from muzzle brake to suppressor), and I was shocked at the lack of recoil and realized why Gunwerks combined the Magnus stock with the ClymR action. With a few slight tweaks, it was zeroed, and it is most definitely what I would call a 1,000-yard gun! I have taken it on two different antelope hunts in the three weeks and even had my 16-year-old daughter shoot her first antelope with it, who said, ‘I didn’t even notice any recoil.’ She verified the accuracy of the gun on a rock 900 yards out when we got to antelope hunt camp, and the rest is history.

This gun honestly has a great weight dispersion with a slight weight forward feel that lets you settle into the bipod and feel rock solid. In shooting, confidence plays a big role, and this Magnus MTX coupled together with the Revic AcuraRS25i and custom Gunwerks ammunition, I have no doubt in its performance. We got this gun in the office for review just before hunting season in August, and after shooting it and seeing its capabilities, this gun is booked for various hunts from Advisors through the end of the year. From the smoothness of the action to the accuracy downrange, it is hard to find a flaw in this one. I hate for this to sound like a fluff piece, but the Magnus MTX is really that good.” – Garth Jenson, Hunt Advisor
