The first thing I noticed when I took this rifle out of the box was how light it is. Weighing just over 5 pounds, it's one of the lightest rifles available today. Bergara designed it with a classic sporter-style stock that feels familiar to traditional hunters but updated it with modern materials to reduce weight and enhance performance.
Once we mounted the scope, it didn’t take long to zero the rifle. It was shooting tight groups right out of the box. After just one box of ammo, we were hitting targets at 600 yards.
The lightweight build makes it an excellent option for young hunters or women who don’t want to carry a heavy 10–12-pound rifle all day but still want the accuracy for longer shots when needed.
We received the rifle one week, and by the next, our Advertising and PR Manager, Deziree Valdez, took it out and harvested a fine Utah antelope—proving this rifle is ready to hunt right away.
