HUNT DETAILS:
These late-season mountain goat hunts are conducted early in November when the goats' hair is at its longest and goats are moving out of the high country. Typically, hunts will begin with glassing mountain faces from below, and once a trophy goat is located, hunters will hike in for a shot. November winter hunts see more goats closer to the bottom of the mountains, providing opportunities for hunters with physical limitations.
This concession holds the largest mountain goats in British Columbia, with record-class billies roaming the cliffs. Despite having BC’s highest goat densities, this hunt is the ultimate challenge—often requiring good physical condition due to the harsh terrain. The hunts can involve significant climbing and tracking, but they offer a rewarding experience with the chance to harvest a world-class billy.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
These late-season hunts are based out of a cabin but also offer clients the ability to winter camp out on the mountain. Meals are provided by the outfitter on these hunts, whether they are hunting from the cabin or basing out of a tent.
