HUNT DETAILS:
This premium rut hunt takes place on a premier private ranch enrolled in Colorado’s Ranching for Wildlife (RFW) program in unit 84 in south-central Colorado. Licenses are guaranteed through the program and issued in coordination with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Spanning over 11,000 acres of prime elk habitat, the ranch is a true sanctuary for trophy-class bulls. The landscape features a diverse mix of open meadows, rolling hills, and mountainous terrain covered in spruce, pine, and aspen. Elevations range from 9,000 to 11,000 feet, creating ideal rut conditions and consistent elk movement throughout the season.
These fully guided, one-on-one, five-day hunts run from September through October and include meals and accommodation at the ranch lodge. Well-maintained road systems provide access to key hunting areas, and experienced guides focus on locating and targeting mature bulls. This is a rare opportunity to hunt rutting elk with your choice of weapon, and hunters can realistically expect opportunities on bulls in the 300 to 340"+ class.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters will stay at the ranch lodge, which offers comfortable, modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. A full-time cook prepares quality meals throughout your stay.
