HUNT DETAILS:
Newfoundland’s caribou populations remain strong, offering excellent opportunities to pursue mature trophy bulls. This lodge-based hunt allows the outfitter to cover extensive territory from multiple cabin locations throughout the hunting area, giving guides the flexibility to adapt to conditions and game movement.
Most hunting is conducted via ATV or on foot, providing access to prime glassing locations and creating ideal spot-and-stalk opportunities. The outfitter has an outstanding success rate and focuses on targeting mature bulls.
The hunting area supports a healthy caribou herd from the August archery season through the rifle season, ensuring consistent opportunities throughout the fall. Hunts are typically scheduled for late October through early November, when caribou movement increases and bulls are most active.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
This hunt is based out of a comfortable log-cabin lodge located on a scenic lake. Hunters can expect warm, welcoming accommodations complete with heat, running water, and quality bedding for a relaxing stay. A dedicated chef prepares hearty, home-cooked meals throughout the trip, allowing guests to unwind after a full day in the field.
