9 mule deer points

My hunting partner and I have 9 mule deer points and might be looking for a good archery hunt this year. I have killed a few mulies, the biggest being 170" and my buddy has never killed a mule deer. My question is what unit would provide us a high quality hunt with lots of deer and the possibility of killing something in the 170"+ range? Thanks in advance for any help!

My buddy and I each have 10 points in Colorado and are looking to find a fun archery elk hunt where we can have some good rutting action and maybe get into some 300"+ bulls. Just tired of chasing any of the "better" units and with creep know that we need to cash in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Understanding the Draw in AZ

Yes that is correct, but depending on how many applicant have the same amount of points as you do it is not a guarantee in the max draw either.

That does help!
So the 15 tags in the random can be hypothetically taken up by residents? and the only guarantee for NR's to get a tag is in the max point pool?

Understanding the Draw in AZ

Arizona changed the draw for non-residents last year.Up to 10% can still go to non-residents but only 5% can go in the max point draw. the other 5% has to be drawn in the random draw but not guaranteed that non-residents will get the other 5%. Your example, up to 15 tags could go to non-resident in the max point draw and 15 would be in the random draw which anybody could draw. Figuring draw odds for the random draw is a crap shoot! I hope this helps you.
