The weight and functionality of this pack lend it to 80% or more of the hunting situations I find myself in. I had the opportunity to take this pack on my 2025 Wyoming archery elk hunt, and it performed amazingly.
The simple design—a big primary compartment and a few smaller exterior pockets to keep things like headlamp, game calls, snacks, etc. sectioned out from bulky items like game bags and layers—is ideal.
The MODFRAME suspension provides a load shelf with vertical compression straps to keep your meat and antlers up higher on your back as well as horizontal straps to keep them from sliding out the side. All this and it is very lightweight for such a sturdy pack; it hauls as heavy of a load as I can physically carry.
One of my favorite aspects of this pack, other than the overall performance and versatility, is the flexible fabric incorporated into the outside pockets, allowing you to shove extra items in and go. This is yet another great pack from Eberlestock that offers the lightweight comfort that hunters are looking for.
