ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter brings years of professional guiding to hunters in Utah, along with an investment in seeing each one succeed. A strong success rate has been maintained across that time. Mule deer are the species covered here. The approach extends well past the field, with the team working alongside each hunter through planning and preparation and staying involved right through the hunt itself. That attention has built a reputation among hunters at every experience level, from those on a first western trip to those who have done this many times. Safety, service, and a rewarding week are the priorities from the first call forward.

HUNT DETAILS:
This is a mule deer hunt on a ten thousand acre private CWMU in central Utah, ground that has a reputation for producing the kind of buck most hunters go west hoping to find. The property holds a mix of habitat, running from timbered canyons into rolling sage hills, juniper flats, and thick pockets of oak brush, and that variety is a large part of why bucks reach maturity here. Only a small number of deer come off the ranch each year, which keeps pressure light and the age structure intact. Bucks in the one hundred seventy to one hundred ninety inch class are the realistic target, and encounters with mature animals are consistent rather than occasional. Both archery and rifle options are available, so hunters can pursue a buck with whichever they shoot best. Every hunt is guided one on one, which means undivided attention from a guide who knows the ranch, and hunts run five days, enough time to locate a specific buck and work out a way to get in on him.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters stay in a four bedroom house a short distance from the hunting property, which means real beds, hot showers, and space to spread out rather than a tent camp. The house is well appointed and gives the group somewhere to unwind at the end of a long day. All meals are included and prepared by an on-site cook, starting with a substantial breakfast before hunters head out and finishing with dinner once everyone is back. Nobody is cooking, shopping, or cleaning up after themselves during the week, and the arrangement keeps the group together under one roof for the duration of the hunt.
