These exclusive outfitter areas are located on the Eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. They offer quality hunts with a near 100% success/opportunity ratio. Pre-season scouting is one of the big keys to their success.
Their guides are in the hunt areas locating rams so that when you arrive you can make the best use of your time right out of the chute. The entire team spends countless hours and days in the field each year. In the past, it has happened numerous times that hunters harvested their rams on the 1st day of the hunt.
The outfitter has been hunting and working off horseback his entire life, and the area can only be accessed this way. A comfortable camp with cook tent, heated sleep tents, shower and professional staff on hand are all provided on this hunt. The average ram in the area will score in the 165" range, and trophies scoring over 180" have been taken. If needed the outfitter will use spike camps to hunt further into the area, but typically this isn’t the case. Hunters need to be in good physical condition and be prepared. There are places with big open basins above tree-line that can provide some longer than normal shot opportunities, but in most cases shots are 400 yards or less.
