ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This is a family oriented outfitting business, established in 1985 which owned and operated by the husband and wife and their three sons. They are located in south central Montana, in the beautiful Paradise Valley, only thirty-five miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Their 3000 acre, spectacular, game-rich, private ranch is the base of our operation, which is nestled at the foot of the rugged Absaroka mountain range. Fair chase trophy hunts are offered from both the ranch and adjoining wilderness, located in the Gallatin National Forest. Our U.S. Forest Service permit allows for hunting in over 50,000 acres of secure wildlife habitat The vast country in which we hunt is very majestic, ranging in elevation from 5200 to over 10,000 feet. Their success over the years has not only been measured in the harvest of trophy game animals, but also the memories and satisfaction of all the effort put forth during each unique hunt. They specialize in producing the quality hunt that exceeds your expectations.

HUNT DETAILS:
Montana’s rifle elk and deer season runs from the last week of October through the weekend following Thanksgiving, a time when the rut is winding down and bulls begin transitioning from cow groups into bachelor herds. Hunting focuses on glassing to locate bulls, followed by carefully planned stalks, often using horses to cover greater distances before hiking in to close the gap. The primary focus is typically elk, with the opportunity to pursue either mule deer or whitetail once an elk has been harvested. Hunts emphasize selective harvest of mature animals and are generally based from a ranch setting, with the flexibility to move into backcountry camps when weather conditions or game movement make it advantageous.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for hunts are first class. On the ranch, you hunt from a beautiful brand new lodge and mouse proof cozy log cabins with hot showers and toilets. Meals are included and hunters sleep on comfortable bedding. Wilderness camps are also well equipped and comfortable.
