ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter grew up with stories of his grandfather hunts on the Powderhorn and this is what first brought he and his wife to the valley in 1994. After visiting the Powderhorn with their 4 children for 20 years, an archery elk hunt for their youngest son in 2015 led them to purchasing a cabin and the outfitter in the area.
Both Greg and Shannon enjoy all aspects of hunting, fishing and the outdoors and look forward to passing on their love of God's creation to those who want to take their adventuring to the next level. Being experienced hunter of both rifle and bow hunting both elk, mule deer and white-tail. He is proficient at horse packing and wrangling and is a gentle and dependable guide for those wanting a top-notch hunt. As a retired General Contractor, he is keen on detail and a man of his word. As a Christian husband, father and grandfather, he believes in the commitment to truth found in God’s Word as the foundation for all aspects of life.
HUNT DETAILS:
Fully guided wilderness hunt or bass camp hunt. This hunt is unique in that you are packed into our limited draw units, horseback, to one of our permitted camps. A guide will cook for you, guide for you and take care of the field dressing for you. You will stay in a wall tent with a wood stove, cots, chairs, tables, latrine. Guided hunts include breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner. You bring your bedding and personal items. Lodging before pack in and after pack out is not provided, available for an extra per night fee. Gratuities not included in price of hunt.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
These limited draw areas typically take quite a few preference points depending on the season and method of take. Some of the units can take as many as 20 preference points. The areas offer a tag for all levels of point holders. The limited draw limits the number of tags in the area, creating a qualify controlled area with limited pressure and healthy herd population with mature animals. The limited draw in a wilderness area provides a quality wilderness experience with limited pressure from other hunters.
