With decades of experience, they offer professionally guided hunts for elk, mule deer, mountain lion, sheep, and a wide variety of other big game. They operate across both Colorado and Utah, maintaining a strong presence in the region since the late 1970s. Their primary focus is on Colorado units 60, 61, 70, 71, 711, 21, and 30, where they’ve built a reputation for quality and success.

HUNT DETAILS:
Southwestern Colorado is a premier destination for elk hunting, renowned for offering some of the best chances to harvest mature bulls in the country. With its expansive wilderness, rugged high-altitude terrain, and thriving elk populations, the region provides an exceptional setting for hunters. The elk hunting season typically runs through the fall, starting with archery in late August and continuing through rifle seasons from early October to late November.

Guided hunts in this area are led by seasoned professionals who bring in-depth knowledge of the local terrain, elk behavior, and proven strategies for success. Their expertise can significantly reduce scouting time and increase your odds of a rewarding hunt. Outfitted with specialized gear—such as blinds, tree stands, 4x4 vehicles, horses, and ATVs—these hunts are well-supported and highly effective.

Elk hunts are offered on a 1x1 basis, with 2x1 options available upon request and coordinated pricing. Each hunt includes five full days in the field, plus one day in and one day out for travel. The pace and difficulty of the hunt are tailored to your preference—it can be as challenging or relaxed as you choose. Transportation includes 4x4 trucks and walking, with horses available as needed. Success rates generally range from 85% to 90%, depending on weather conditions, hunter ability, and the desired size of the bull. While they strive for the highest success possible, as with all fair chase hunts, no outcome can be guaranteed.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
You'll hunt some of Colorado’s best private land, surrounded by vast BLM territory, offering plenty of room to explore. Accommodations include comfortable, self-contained campers—or in some locations, cozy cabins with hot showers and 4x4 transportation for easy access to the field. This Endorsed Outfitter provides a welcoming, rustic camp set on Colorado’s scenic western slope. Though remote, the camp offers plenty of comfort, including quality mattresses, protection from the elements, and fully equipped trailers with bathrooms and hot showers. A dedicated camp cook ensures you're well-fed and ready for each day’s adventure, keeping spirits high throughout your hunt.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Colorado uses a preference point system for drawing licenses in limited units. Each unit and season require a different number of preference points to draw a license with some areas having OTC tags.
