Hunting and operating in Mexico for over 30 years, this outfitter has been a part of a lot of great hunts for Mule Deer, Coues Deer, and Desert Bighorn Sheep. Today, Sonora remains one of the premier destinations for Desert Bighorn Sheep hunting, renowned for its abundant populations, trophy-quality, and world-class hunting opportunities. Hunters from around the globe flock to Sonora each year during the hunting season to pursue trophy bighorn's in the rugged and scenic landscapes of the region. This outfitter has a proven track record of success, positive reviews from past clients, and a strong reputation in the hunting community. With as much time as they have mastering their craft, it has brought them a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and insights. They have established connections with local landowners, and communities, and they have access to insider information, local knowledge, and resources that enhances the hunting experience and provides clients with a competitive advantage.

This outfitter has spent years exploring the region's diverse landscapes, from desert plains to rugged mountains. They have intimate knowledge of the terrain, including key hunting areas, water sources, bedding areas, and travel routes. They operate on thousands of acres of prime country for trophy bighorn sheep, and they are very strategic on how they hunt, the number of hunters that hunt, and when they hunt. Over three decades of hunting in Sonora, the outfitter has developed a deep understanding of the behavior and habits of the game. They know their movements, feeding patterns, and rutting behaviors, allowing them to strategize and plan hunts more effectively.

Each of their hunts are conducted either out of a ranch house or hotel for accommodations. Most hunts will be out of a ranch house. Their areas are easily accessible by air and road, making it a convenient base for sheep hunting trips in Sonora. From Hermosillo, hunters can access nearby hunting areas within a relatively short drive, allowing for flexibility and convenience during the hunt. All the areas that they hunt can be accessed within approximately 2.5 hours or less from Hermosillo, so travel is quick and painless.

All of the hunts include home cooked Mexican meals by a local cook, and there have been no complaints to date. They operate with well maintained vehicles, and each vehicle will have coolers with food and drinks supplied to consumer throughout the day as well. They use full size trucks and and/or SUV's, depending on the area you are hunting. The hunting typically involves a combination of spot-and-stalk hunting, glassing from vantage points, and driving to cover as much country as possible. Backpacking can also be a good approach, but isn't mandatory. This hunt works for all types of clients young and old. They also always have a person that speaks English with each client, so don't worry about the language barrier.

The areas that they hunt have a bunch of diverse habitats, including desert plains, rugged mountains, and canyons. These varied landscapes provide excellent habitat for mule deer, with ample food sources, cover, and water. These areas are known for producing trophy-quality rams with impressive horns as you will see in their trophy gallery. The region's ideal habitat conditions, coupled with minimal hunting pressure, contributes to the growth of mature rams with desirable horn mass and length.

This outfitter offers hunts between November and March. Spots fill up fast and a large number of clients repeat year after year, so planning ahead is always advised.
