Texas Free Range Trophy Aoudad Hunt

These private land hunts take place Sept-Oct and Feb-Apr each year. Aoudad hunting in the mountains of west Texas can be the most enjoyable but the most brutal hunt our state can offer. Extreme heat, steep slopes, very rocky terrain and every thing around has some sort of a sharp point to get through your clothes. These very rewarding sheep hunts are typically all spot and stalk. We spend hours of walking and glassing through the west Texas desert where these north African animals have learned to call home. Sometimes miles and miles of walking are needed to obtain a mature ram. These are four-day hunts one half day at arrival, three full days and a half day on departing. Will provide home-style cooked meals and ranch house style lodging if available. Fully guided hunts with some of the most professional guides in the business, expect 200 yard plus shots up to 600 yards if conditions optimal. 30”/9 year old and older rams are to be expected as trophies.
