The outfitter that manages this Hunt has been guiding Hunts in Utah for a very long time and as a veteran to the Outfitting and guiding industry. They have taken multiple world-class bulls, and they know what it takes to get the job done. The opportunity rate for this hunt with all weapons is 100%. You can hunt with a rifle in the rut, and that alone makes it one of the few hunts for elk that is even possible.

You can book this hunt one of two ways. You can either apply in the Utah lottery tag system and draw the tag, or you can purchase/book the hunt with a guaranteed tag. To draw this tag is difficult, and takes many years. The guaranteed tag option allows you to hunt by way of bypassing the draw, but planning for this hunt is usually required. This hunt is usually booked out a few years in advance. This hunt occurs on what is called a CWMU or Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit. Under the CWMU program, private landowners work with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) to manage and conserve wildlife populations on their land.

This hunt comes with an amazing elk hunting lodge. The lodge come with clean rooms or cabins with beds, linens, and other amenities. The hunt includes meals for its guests, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. You will be provided transportation to and from the hunting areas, and will be doing so with experienced guides who will assist you in locating, pursuing, and harvesting your elk. They will also handle the field dressing and butchering of your bull to prepare for the freezer and the taxidermist. The lodge has a secure area for storing your hunting gear and equipment, and they can assist you with game processing service coordination and taxidermy coordination.
