HUNT DETAILS:
This hunt offers exclusive access to more than seventy-five thousand acres of private land in southern Utah, in one of the strongest elk units in the state. The property is a Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit, a state program that lets private landowners manage wildlife on their ground in cooperation with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources while offering a limited number of hunts. In practice that means very little pressure and a herd managed for age rather than numbers. Bulls here run between three hundred fifty and four hundred inches and better, which puts this in rare company. Opportunity has been one hundred percent across all weapon types. The country holds elk because it gives them what they need, with varied terrain and vegetation across the ranch and abundant elk in the surrounding region. The outfitter running it is a veteran of the industry who has taken multiple world-class bulls himself. After a bull is down, the crew handles field dressing and butchering and coordinates processing and taxidermy.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Lodging is a first-class lodge with clean, spacious rooms as well as private cabins, each set up with good beds, fresh linens, and modern amenities. Hunters have a real place to unwind at the end of a long day rather than a cot in a tent. A chef handles the food, covering substantial breakfasts, midday meals, and dinners, with snacks available to keep hunters going in between. The lodge also has a secure area for storing rifles, bows, and gear. Guides handle all transportation to and from the hunting areas, so nobody needs a vehicle or has to navigate unfamiliar country on their own.
