Exclusive Private Land Wyoming Merriams Turkey Hunt

This adventure is a hunt for beautiful Merriam's wild turkeys found only in the western US. This outfitter has access to over 2,000 acres of private land with exclusive hunting rights on an additional 30,000 acres in some of the area’s best private land bordering the 2.5 million acre Shoshone National Forest just outside of Meeteetse. This makes us a natural hotspot for mountain wildlife like the highly sought after Merriam's turkey. The Wood River valley has a healthy population of birds and they are fortunate to control hunting on a large portion of the valley.

GETTING THERE
Clients will fly into Cody Wyoming where outfitter will pick up the clients or clients have the option of renting a vehicle and driving 1 hour to camp. The airport also has a a shuttle that can take the clients to the town for $150 each way. Clients always have the option of driving to camp by personal vehicle

LODGING/MEALS
Their are two options in lodging. First option is staying at a bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse is far more than the name implies. Recently renovated, the Bunkhouse features six unique rooms with a common living area, complete with a kitchen and his/hers community bathrooms. Hunters staying in the Bunkhouse provide and prepare their own meals in the Bunkhouse kitchen. Second option is a 5 star lodge with with gourmet meals cooked by a chef.
