ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been operating since 1997, providing world-class guided hunts across New Mexico. They specialize in trophy mule deer, elk, antelope, bighorn sheep, ibex, oryx, and trout fishing, offering fully customized experiences tailored to each sportsman's goals. Hunting is not just a sideline for them, it is their way of life and true passion. With over 25 years of experience, their expert guides specialize in specific units and put hunters in the best possible position for a trophy-class animal. Whether through drawn public tags, landowner vouchers, or access to their private ranches, they offer the flexibility to match the right hunt to each client, backed by expert scouting, personalized service, and a deep knowledge of New Mexico's terrain and wildlife.

HUNT DETAILS:
This post covers two separate private ranch hunts in northern New Mexico, both fully guided bull elk hunts on private ground with no draw required. The West Ranch is the outfitter's top-end, premium property and carries the higher price, while the East Ranch offers the same style of hunt at a more affordable price point. Each ranch is offered two ways: a 7-day archery hunt in September, or a 5-day rifle hunt in October, with late-season rifle hunts running into December. The country is a mix of rolling hills, sage flats, and juniper pockets, and each ranch is hunted on a limited basis with only one hunter or group at a time. Hunters cover ground on foot or by vehicle, glassing from high vantage points in a classic spot-and-stalk style. With private land access, well-managed herds, and minimal pressure, hunters have a realistic opportunity at a mature trophy bull.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters are lodged in bunkhouses on or near the ranches, and once snow arrives later in the season some hunts are run from a nearby hotel. Meals are included throughout your stay, with hearty breakfasts, a packed lunch for the field, and dinners after the hunt.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
This hunt takes place entirely on private land and includes a landowner voucher, so no draw is required and hunters can secure a tag without depending on New Mexico's public draw. Hunters are still responsible for a New Mexico non-resident license, and license and tag fees are not included in the hunt price. Huntin' Fool's License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
