With over 3500 successful hunts, of which many hunters harvested World Record Trophies, we are confident in stating that our combined efforts worth taking another look at.

Hunting the Marco Polo Argali in Tajikistan is an extraordinary and challenging experience, set in the breathtaking Pamir Mountains. The process begins with selecting a reputable outfitter, and this is one of them. They help secure the necessary hunting permits and provide guidance on preparing for the physical demands of the high-altitude terrain. Proper fitness preparation is essential, as hunts typically occur at elevations of 12,000 to 15,000 feet. Gear is also critical, with hunters needing cold-weather clothing, high-quality optics, and a rifle suitable for long-range shots.

After flying into Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s capital, hunters will embark on a multi-day journey by 4x4 vehicles to the remote hunting areas. Upon arriving at camp, which usually consists of yurts or simple lodges, hunters are given time to acclimatize to the altitude. The outfitter's team, including local guides, will provide support throughout the trip, offering their expertise in the region's terrain and animal behavior. The primary method for hunting Marco Polo sheep is the "spot and stalk" technique, where guides locate sheep using spotting scopes, and hunters approach on foot or horseback. Given the open terrain, long-range shots (300-500 yards or more) are often required, adding to the difficulty of the hunt.

Hunts typically last 7 days, allowing time to track down a mature ram with trophy-worthy horns. Once a sheep is harvested, the guides will assist with field dressing and ensuring the proper care of the trophy. The outfitter will also handle all necessary paperwork for exporting the horns and hide back to the hunter’s home country. The experience is enhanced by the stunning landscapes of the Pamirs and the opportunity to interact with local Tajik communities, providing a rich cultural aspect to the adventure. After completing the hunt, hunters return to Dushanbe for their departure, with their outfitter ensuring the safe transport of their prized trophy.
