ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter offers hunts that take place in Northeastern British Columbia on a family ranch with thousands of acres private land behind locked gates with no public access. It’s a family owned and operated business that’s been around for going on 30 years now! This outfitters operation consists of multiple types of agricultural fields and plots that adjoins the remote wilderness in the area. These areas are full of elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, black bear, moose, mountain goat, mountain caribou, stone sheep, and wolves, all of which are available to hunt.
HUNT DETAILS:
There's a reason this hunt includes two bears for each hunter... there's a lot of them! The bears are plentiful and they use both the wilderness and the fields for survival and sustenance. These two variables have proven to be a huge advantage for hunters each year as the opportunities are far above average. There are no shortage of bears, and the private land access coupled with the agriculture/feed that is always available, the black bears thrive in this location. To date black bear hunters have experienced 100% success. Typical coloration is black to cinnamon with a white blaze on the chest or straight black. The average weight for a Black Bear ranges from 200 pounds up to 600 pounds.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The accommodations and meals speak for themselves. Expect to eat bacon, eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc. for breakfast, hot soup, sandwiches, snacks, etc. for lunch, and prime rib, pork chops, chicken, etc. for dinner. No one has complained to date!
