ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA endorsed outfitter offers unforgettable guided hunting adventures through the rugged landscapes of Wyoming. Their hunts combine traditional backcountry style with first-class camp amenities — from expert guides and quality horses to hearty meals and fireside camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or planning your first Western trip, you’ll find unmatched hospitality, professionalism, and adventure in every detail.

HUNT DETAILS:
There’s nothing like being in the elk woods during the rut — the crisp morning air, the echo of bugles through the timber, and the rush of drawing in a mature herd bull. These elk hunts take place in prime Western terrain, guided by experienced professionals who know how to get you close. Whether you're hunting with a bow or rifle, this is the kind of adventure that leaves a lasting mark. They are very fortunate to have exceptional Elk quality and the longest season to hunt them. If you hunt with this outfitter, you will see that they are one of the few places in the United States where you can hunt elk with a rifle right in the midst of their rutting season. They are also fortunate to have a resident herd of Elk to hunt due to their geographic location near two of Wyoming’s largest feed grounds. They offer 6 day hunts for Deer and Elk from two different camp options...

PACK-IN HIGH CAMPS: If you want to hunt the high country, their upper camp is just the place. It is accessible horseback only, a ten-mile ride in and magnificent hunting from there. They offer 6 day hunts for Deer and Elk. This is also a great camp if you are lucky enough to draw a tag for a Mountain Goat (Area 2) or Big Horn Sheep (Areas 6 & 7). You can also add a Bear tag (Purchase over the counter after you get there) while you hunt Deer or Elk. Their experienced, safe mountain horses are very good at their job and will safely get you and your gear through the high country, whether your an experienced horseman or a novice, you can put your trust in these horses and mules.

MAIN CAMP HUNTS: Their base camp is accessible with 4WD trucks, yet it is in great country with plenty of game. From this camp they can accommodate both the hunter that wants to hunt the high rough stuff as well as the hunter that prefers a more relaxed hunt. You will be using horses daily from this camp as well. There is plenty of good game for both due to their location to the elk feeding grounds and the Snake River hunting range. This camp provides great access for hunting Moose in Area 20. Both of these camps offer comfortable tent living with wood stoves, cots to sleep on and good home cooked meals along with a great atmosphere to enjoy the Wyoming Mountains during the best time of the year. You can expect to hear the bugling of bull elk during the late part of September and early October as the elk are in heavy rut during this time.

This outfitter's hunt areas are well known for the trophies and have consistently produced over the years. With a healthy resident Elk heard, they do not depend on the snowfall or migration. The elk are there year round with the main feed ground not far away. Their upper camp is set high up in the alpine where the deer and elk really do roam.
Because this outfitter specializes in low hunter numbers and a true custom hunt, their success rate for their camps over the years is nearly 100%, with several trophies taken each year. Expect to hunt 270"- 320" bulls with a chance at bigger.
