La Pampa, is a province in Central Argentina, within the vast Pampas grasslands and the Northern part of the famous Patagonian region. By the turn of the century a French-Basque immigrant started the first hunting preserve in the country, and he imported red deer and European wild boar to get things rolling. Today, the hunting opportunities have spread across all of Argentina, and this operation is located within 100 miles of where it all began. Beyond the Red Stag and Wild Boar, many other species have been introduced, and are now huntable. You have the opportunity to hunt Fallow Deer, Axis Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, and Water Buffalo. These species also coexist with the native species such as Puma, Fox, Guanaco, Patagonian Mara and Reha. On top of the Big game hunting, a sportsperson can also experience World-Class Fishing and Dove and Pigeon hunts, as well as other activities for both hunters and observers. The landscapes are stunning, ranging from the vast pampas to the Andes Mountains. It also offers rich cultural experiences, from the tango in Buenos Aires to traditional estancias (ranches). The country is also renowned for its beef, and hunters can enjoy delicious Argentine barbecue (asado) during the trip.
Hunting is also offered year-round for many species, allowing hunters to plan trips at their convenience. This flexibility is particularly attractive to international hunters who may have limited vacation time. The terrain and landscape is a graceful combination of dunes, brackish streams, saline patches and prickly calden trees, and often people compare the scenery to South Africa. This area is considered a great place to hunt for big game for many reasons, beginning with the Abundant Game Population. They have a large and healthy population of many big game species, thanks to its vast and diverse landscapes. The country's fertile plains, forests, mountains, and wetlands provide ample habitat and food for all animals. It’s why hunters continue to return and hunt with them.
