This outfitter is a very well-known Mexican family that understand hunting and game management. The ranch itself has been in the family for over 100 years, and 2022 was the first year that paying clients hunted the ranch. The ranch is covered with piped water and tanks, along with multiple feeders in key locations through the ranch. These feeders and tanks are tucked away in the mountains, canyons, and flats where the game frequents and travels the most. The year-round feeding and water program ensures continued growth regardless of the weather and elements that consistently affects wild game in places like Mexico. The outfitter also takes predation very seriously to maintain quality and age for above average opportunities for trophy hunting.
The best hunting methods include Spot and Stalk, High-Rack Trucks, and Ground Blinds (if a client desires to do so). The best methods have proven to be covering the ranch in High-Rack Trucks during the rut to catch bucks chasing does. The same goes for hiking the mountains and hills glassing the canyons and valley floors during the same time-frame. You can choose to run the ridges with a backpack all day long, or you can choose to hunt from the vehicle, on foot from easily accessed vantage points, or from a ground blind over water or a feeder. It’s entirely up to you and your capabilities and/or wants/needs.
The lodging is as good as it gets, with multiple bedrooms accommodating couples, groups, and/or single hunters. The meals are home-cooked authentic Mexican meals, and you can choose to take a lunch with you during the day or return back to the lodge and eat. Breakfast and dinner are at the lodge each day. There is a swimming-pool and hot-tub for you to enjoy at your leisure, or you can sit by the fire and relax. Skinning and caping are also included, and trophies will be taken care of and prepared for you to take home with you after the hunt. The outfitter handles all permitting and requirements to properly cross the border with no complications.
As part of this amazing opportunity, they are providing the opportunity to hunt some of the largest Carmen Mountain Whitetail Deer that you can find in the world. This is 100% free range/fair chase hunting, and is as good as it gets. They are also offering the opportunity to add additional species on a trophy fee basis, as well as additional bucks, given they have the permits to do so. The additional species includes Aoudad or Barbary Sheep, Mountain Lion, and Predators. All of these opportunities are based out of one location/lodge. (Some driving may be necessary)
