HUNT DETAILS:
These Idaho black bear hunts offer a true western backcountry experience in remote, rugged country where mature bears roam thick timber and open mountain slopes. Available with either 1:1 or 2:1 guide service, hunters can choose the level of personalized attention that best fits their goals. Hunts run five days in length and can be pursued either over bait or with hounds, giving hunters the choice between a patient, stationary approach or the fast-paced action of tracking and treeing a bear. Whether sitting quietly over an active bait site or working alongside a hound crew through rugged terrain, hunters are treated to an authentic Idaho wilderness experience with good trophy potential and the opportunity to pursue black bears in some of the state's most scenic and productive bear country.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for these hunts are based out of comfortable backcountry camps located in Idaho's high country. Camps are designed to provide a comfortable and authentic wilderness experience, with sturdy tents, comfortable cots, and everything needed to relax after long days in the mountains. Hunts include hearty, chef-prepared meals served each day, allowing hunters to focus entirely on the hunt while enjoying excellent food and western hospitality.
