ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a full-time, family-run operation with decades of experience in hunting, summer pack trips, and trout fishing. Based in southeastern Wyoming, most hunts take place on private land either owned or exclusively leased by the outfitter. They are also permitted to guide on National Forest, BLM, and State of Wyoming lands, offering a variety of terrain and opportunities for a quality Western hunting experience.

HUNT DETAILS:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter manages key private ranches and high-country areas that consistently produce quality mule deer. They offer two primary hunt options: private land ranch hunts with easy access and strong deer numbers, and a more physically demanding mountain hunt that may involve horses or mules and targets some of the big bucks each year. Both options provide excellent opportunities for harvesting a trophy mule deer.

You will not find better whitetail hunting in southeast Wyoming. If you're looking for a quality whitetail buck and want to hunt private land that has been managed for trophy-class deer for over twenty years, then this outfitter is the right choice. Their long-term management and exclusive access consistently produce top-end bucks in a low-pressure hunting environment.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations are comfortable and well-suited for a quality Western hunting experience. Most hunts include lodging in a ranch house, lodge, or modern cabin located on or near the hunting property. These accommodations provide a warm, clean place to relax after long days in the field, along with home-cooked meals and a welcoming, family-style atmosphere.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
In Wyoming, obtaining a deer tag—whether for mule deer or whitetail—is primarily done through the state’s limited quota draw system. Tags are in high demand, especially in trophy units, with non-residents receiving a smaller percentage of the total allocations.

Wyoming uses a preference point system for deer, and while some units can be drawn with minimal points, others may require several years of point building. A portion of tags is also allocated through a random draw, giving all applicants a chance regardless of points. The application period typically opens in early January and closes by May 31, with draw results released in mid-June.

Huntin’ Fool can assist with the application process, helping you select the right units based on your goals, point level, and season preferences. With the right plan in place, drawing a Wyoming deer tag can set you up for an exceptional Western hunting experience.
